Food styling is the culinary art of arranging the food and props in order to make the food look its very best - fresh and tasty.

The ideal image should also tell a story with carefully chosen props to show the food off to its fullest potential.

Extra thought and planning go into each individual shot, with ques to ingredients, colours and textures all used within the composition of the image.

Capturing the details of the ingredients can require very specialised equipment to shape and manipulate light in very artistic ways, in order to create the overal look required.

Our aim is always to capture the mood within each image,  depending upon the initial artistic brief.

We take into account natural light within a vibrant setting for a "brighter" feel or alternatively for a more moody feel a dish that will be served in a darker environment.
